Jayco Travel Trailers is a company based in Middlebury, Indiana. It is the largest privately held RV company on the North American continent. They began operations over four decades ago and are noted for being the developers of several cutting edge innovations in the travel camper arena.
As an industry leader and innovator, Jayco Travel Trailers was the first to introduce the “fold-down camper” or “pop-up camper” depending on how you want to look at it. It’s one of those “Is the glass half empty or half full?” “You say tomato and I’ll say tomahto” kinda things.

Jayco Travel Trailers, while certainly well known for their pioneering efforts in the pop-up camper arena, produce a number of other fine products to thrill the RV enthusiast. They also produce lite weight, park travel trailers, fifth wheels, motorhomes, toy haulers, and Jayco Pop Up Trailers. The latter of which, for those who don’t know, is a version of new and used travel trailers for sale that is geared to motorcycle and ATV enthusiasts.
These new and used campers for sale have a storage bay or garage in the rear of the recreational vehicle. This garage provides a place to store the vehicles while in transit and on vacation.
